Over the next couple of nights Europe's finest football teams will battle it out for a place in the UEFA Champions League semi - finals. Taking a look at the fixtures there certainly are some mouth watering ties. I'll make no bones I'm a big Man Utd. Fan, but before anyone starts I've supported them for about 30 years and believe it or not I'm from Manchester! :o

I know Franco supports Juventus and they don't come much bigger than Real Madrid, mind you Juve's chances of victory have significantly increased since the arrival of baby Cruz Beckham. David might be getting a bit tired after all the nappy changing. :tired:

Any Monaco, PSV or any other supporters out there?

22/02/2005
Real Madrid - Juventus
Liverpool - Leverkusen
PSV - Monaco
Bayern - Arsenal

23/02/2005
Porto - Internazionale
Barcelona - Chelsea
Man. United - Milan
Bremen - Lyon

The Czech cannon was injured, out at 37'.
Olivera was the substitute
It will be hard in Turin.

Porto 1-1 Internazionale
Barcelona 2-1 Chelsea
Man. United 0-1 Milan :crybaby:
Bremen 0-3 Lyon

I didn't see the match as I was sick in bed - best place for me under the circumstances. Utd. have a mountain to climb in Milan, I'm not at all confident, but as we know they NEVER give in.

It's a big, big game. There will be goals, let's just hope Utd. get most of them. Don't forget Chelsea V Barcelona also.

Says it all.

The Chelsea match was fantastic.

Good luck to Arsenal and though I really do hate to say it 'Liverpool'.

Not forgetting Juventus.

No problem!

Chelsea
Milan
Lyon
Juventus
Liverpool
PSV
Bayern

Still to be decided on 15/03 Inter V Porto.

So the quarter final line up is almost complete; two…possibly three Italian teams and two from England. Man U are out so I've lost a little bit of interest in the UCL. Who do you fancy playing in the next round Franco?

BTW great result for Juve.

I'm in a bit of a creative trough at the moment Charles; waiting for a competition to really spark the imagination. :helpplease:

I had an idea for SaferPak baseball caps or T-shirts to give out to members, you guys could then send in photographs for the gallery of you wearing them in exotic and far flung places - I have seen it somewhere before, but can't remember where. I thought the ideas was a bit naff though.

Does this mean first leg in Liverpool and return in Turin and so on for the others mate ? :uhm:

BTW you're a good fortune teller Simon

I'll be very excited while watching tears on Inter or Milan players' cheeks, whichever team will pass

Yes the first named is at home in the first leg. I think you will be happy with that Franco; a boring nil nil at Anfield then a boring 1 - 0 at home - Juve go through. Let's just hope the Liverpool V Juventus games is friendly both on and off the pitch.

It's lovely and sunny here today, about 23 degrees centigrade and plenty of Fahrenheit too. :dunno: Just off to wash the car.

See you later mate. :bye:
