A 'chilled out' topic. What are the best food & drink advertising slogans you have come across? I've picked out a few here:

Attached File  Mars.jpg   34.63KB   0 downloads

“A Mars a day helps you work rest and play”

Attached File  KFC.jpg   43.4KB   0 downloads

“It’s finger lickin’ good”- KFC

Attached File  Kit Kat.jpg   29.07KB   0 downloads

“Have a break, have a Kit Kat”

Perhaps you have a favourite advert as well, my favourites tend to be the funny ones, here are a couple:

Attached File  Heinz.jpg   50.45KB   0 downloads

“Beanz meanz Heinz” is a great slogan but have they made the best video advert for beans? probably not, see Haynes Baked Beans - Not for Astronauts

Attached File  Stella Artois.jpg   19.59KB   0 downloads

“Reassuringly expensive” - Stella Artois

Cheers,

Tony

Red Stripe's "Horray Beer!", I also love the shape of their bottles.

Always kind of funny to see British Heinz ads, because Heinz is also a huge name in the US but only for ketchup. Most Americans have no idea that they make anything else. That teal color is also not associated with the brand over here at all, it's interesting to me how brand identities are completely different for different markets.

I toured the old Guinness factory on honeymoon in Ireland.  They have a whole section dedicated to their own slogans and advertisements.  "Guinness is good for you," was one of their most repeated throughout history, but they also adopted many images with Toucans way back and coined phrases like "Toucan have a Guinness."  Kinda neat to see what they found humorous in their old advertising.

Dang, getting a "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community" error when try to share some of their own posters.  They're searchable online though.
