Hi all,

Anyone here in confectionery? How frequently do you test for Pb, Cd? I am sure you are aware that heavy metals in chocolate remain a consumer concern.

As with most things, what's the risk? :) I work at a small company, and currently we source our cocoa from an importer that provides us with a COA on a lot-by-lot basis that includes items of concern, currently we send it out for our own testing bi-annually, but our volume is low and there haven't been many reported issues lately...hope this helps.
