Hi all,

Is anyone here familiar with Russian regulations regarding product labeling? Do they permit the use of stickers on bulk products?

We currently have a product with our company's brand logo printed on the bag. However, we intend to ship it to Russia and use stickers to conceal the logo and other details, as the customer has their own labeling requirements.

Product: Desiccated Coconut

Pack Size: 20 Kgs

If the customer approves this approach, would it comply with Russian regulations as well? I'm concerned about potential issues with customs

Thank you for your insights.

It would have been fine if you had not mentioned concealment....  Russia will not allow concealment by stickers, labels, etc. Thus, the item will never be accepted.

Concealment is not aimed at adulterating or gaining economic value from the product; rather, it is solely to hide our own brand logo and replace it with the customer's label.

Not a supplier to Russia but the reason for covering a label isn't necessarily going to be known.  And I've had bitter experience of things being held up in customs.

Do you need to cover your branding?

In the perspective of other countries, would they permit stickering if it only entails covering the brand logo? (e.g., EU, US, etc.)
