Mock Recalls - Seafood and Beef

Any good ideas/ scenarios for Mock Recalls (Seafood and Beef)? Your ideas are much appreciated :)

Im not sure it makes much difference on the scenario.  Could be pathgen, Fm, etc

Just pick a lot number of raw ingredient to follow it to the customer / where shipped

Or

Pick a finished product a track back to the raw materials used.

At the least pick a finished product lot and track to customer / where shipped.  

I think acting out a scenario is good for a mock recall, as it requires you to activate your exercise all aspects of the recall program vs just performing a basic traceability exercise.  I like FM type scenarios because it's easier to do the mock investigation for how the FM occurred, and then run through the exercise of contacting potential customers to ensure you have the correct contact information, yada yada.

Scenarios: you can use one that actually happened at a facility. The USDA and FDA websites have all the recalls that occurred. So either a finished product or ingredient like a mislabeled item containing an allergen - a common occurrence.
