Are all the scale labeling machines used in the meat processing facility needed to be NSF approved? Can we just buy any types of machine? 

 

Also, can the barcode type on the product and the barcode type of total label outside of the box (example, EAN 13 on the product and EAN 128 on the box) allowed?

It's needs to be certified (need a certificate of calibration) and for food use. Not necessarily NSF approved.
