SQF Certified - Now sharing storage space, any changes?

Hello!

We have recently become SQF certified for Food Manufacturing.

We have an approved supplier who wants to store some of their raw material in our freezer. This is a like ingredient to what we are already purchasing, but not the exact product that we own or will use.

The supplier would be using us as offsite storage. Is there anything that would need to change on our end in order to remain complaint for SQF?

Thank you!

Reach out to your CB and make them aware of the change.  As long as you add this element to your HACCP Plan and have assessed the risks and it is fairly minimal, shouldn't be much of an issue, but the CB must be alerted of this change and they will probably have some questions that you will need to answer.

I agree with Scotty, not a big thing, but need to reach out to the CB to inform them and do your due dilligence in documentation/risk analysis, etc  Had a similar thing, but the storage was very large in volume on the share and they had to send an Auditor out prior to the next audit - everything was fine however.
