Dear All,
May I know what should be used as the simulant for doing a migration analysis for
glass bottles & plastic droppers which packing spices essential oils in them

Greetings Nalathu,
The glass bottles are generally safe from migration. There are numerous studies across that indicate, for a variety of treated glass also, that it is unlikely to have migration problems even for heavy metals (eg lead and cadmium, unless you use a "shady" producer). For glass they usually perform durability tests
As for plastic the most important thing is phthalic acid esters, for which oil is used as a simulant (suggesting to contact a lab for further specific info).
