Traceability of Parchment Baking Paper
I'm currently working in a bakery manufacturer where paper baking cups and all processing aids are traced except for the baking paper used to line the pans for certain items. If the food is baked directly on the paper wold it have to be traced? or does it not matter because it is being baked?
Does the parchment stay with the product? Like a muffin paper, or are they removed prior to shipping? One supplier or multiple?

Parchment is removed before packing and we receive it from one supplier
I would record the lot number on your batch record and call that sufficient as it never leaves your possession
Recording the lot on the batch record will help you in case your supplier ever has an issue
