As I've recently started working in a flour mill, its a lil bit taking time to understand the process flow and in aspect of both the production and quality..

For your information they are certified by FSSC 22000

Setting up the control measures seems challenging. I want to categorise each operation as control measures whether PRP, OPRP or CCP, i want some guidance on this regard.

The operations are as follows, Could you guys plz help me out categorising among one of the above control measures:

Quality inspection of raw material; Wheat

storage in silo

destoner

separator

scourer

roll body

plan sifter

Cockle cylinder

Magnetic separator (3-4)

Tampering/ conditioning

grinding by chakki

Hi Priya,

For Guidance I suggest you initially review the 2 Standards involved and how the evaluations  you mention relate to  Process flow / hazard analysis / fraud / risk assessment.

Offhand, I would anticipate that none of the Activities you refer match any of yr 3 stated categories with the possible exception of 1st and 9th items.

Never heard of chakki, sorry.

Hi Priyya,

To categorise the control measures, use clause 8.5.2.4 of ISO 22000:2018.

Regards,

Faith.
