Hello,

I am the SQF practitioner at an industrial bakery.  I have pcqi, advanced HACCP, internal auditing advanced, implementing SQF, food defense supervisor, advanced HACCP, Food plant sanitation supervisor, c,gmp, classes/certificates.  I have a Bachelors in Biology.

I am looking at getting six sigma as well.  I would eventually like to be a black belt.

This is mainly for my marketability outside of my current company, since i am seeing it as a requirement for many business in this field.  I was looking for online classes and was wondering if anyone was familiar with the following program.

https://www.sixsigmaonline.org/

I just want to make sure wherever i get the certifications done will transfer well with other companies etc.  If anyone knows of any other classes or routes i would love some feedback.

The link you provided seems too good to be true

And in six sigma, you need to learn to walk before you run...........them offering the whole shebam for $500!?!?!?

I have my greenbelt, that along (while working) to meet 3 months and cost alot more than $500

It takes people years to achieve their blackbelt---just think about that when deciding who to pay

I would also suggest that this kind of learning, really will benefit from being in person..........you need real people to work this scenarios with

In the interim, there are alot of really good tools available on www that you can get familar with using

fishbone, 5 Whys, spider web etc

Good luck!

yeah the price seemed too good to be true. I dont mind paying money, i just want it from an accredited program.  I cant find any in person classes near me, which i why i was hoping for online school

Nothing is offered at a close(ish) college?  I would reach out to big business' in your area and/or colleges and just ask , they may be able to provide you with a reputable company or person you could contact directly
