Hi. so I am going for BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8: Auditor Training and on the course website:
Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8: Auditor Training (brcgs.com)
it mentions that Delegates must have a working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector, and have completed a hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) course of at least two days' duration. Now I already have 3 years of experience if food safety and quality management system and am certified as ISO 9001 auditor with 8 years of internal and external audit experience. My only problem is HACCP. My HACCP training has been done in-house by my supervisor. Is there any way to get around that? And if not any recommendations for a cheap HACCP course that would be accepted by BRC because the BRC course is already expensive enough and I really wat to get the 3 day course if I get an expensive course my manager will probably want to switch me to the site training to save money. Any advice?
