Hello, does anyone know if the FSMA Proposed Rule for Food Traceability includes only fresh commodities (e.g., fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, etc.), or if it includes dried commodities as well?  For example, the Food Traceability List (FTL) mentions peppers, but it is not clear if this includes dried peppers. https://www.fda.gov/...e=govdelivery.

We manufacture dietary supplements (dried, not fresh) in the United States and are trying to determine if this applies to us. Thank you, Matthew

I don't know your process, but, if I were you, I would very carefully go through the flowchart in the link you provided:

Glancing at it, I think it would apply to you, but I would be rigorous in going through the flowchart before answering yes or no.

yes.

Thank you, and does this mean yes, it does apply only to fresh commodities?
