Hello, we are using your Cookies Caramels sauce for ice cream preparation. Currently, we are procuring your product in bulk - 6KG Packets. The procured products are further transferred into smaller pack size ( PP food grade packets ) and sent to multiple site for internal consumption). We would like to understand the secondary shelf life post transferring the products from original tin to PP - Food Grade. How long we can store these products in ambient or Chilled conditions  i.e. 1-5 Degree Celsius. Regards,

Baskaran.G.

With no data on the product it is alas impossible to speculate as to the shelf life.

In the first instance I'd suggest contacting your supplier for the sauce and ask there advice. They may be reticent to give a formal life as they are not in control of the decanting/repacking process, but they should at least be able to give some guidance and perhaps suggest some approaches for you to validate it for yourselves.

you are posting a message on a food safety board, not on a company board that may have sold you product.
