Good afternoon all,

I am wondering how other companies in food manufacturing handle torn screens inside of sifter boxes? they go through some serious wear and tear and are expensive to replace.

thanks!

Despite the cost, the wear on the screens should be calculated and that figure input into the preventive maintenance schedule so the cost can be budgeted on an annual basis. The other thing to look at is the opportunity to reduce the cause of the wear. I am not aware of any suitable fix outside of replacement.
