HI All,

As a start up we have relied on excel spreadsheets to help manage our inventory control and reporting etc however its time to streamline to save headaches down the track.

We are currently looking at a couple of software solutions and I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on Unleashed? or Cashmere Systems?

Any feedback would be extremely helpful.

Thanks

Hi Lisa,

I do not have any feedback to offer on the software you are inquiring about, however I am curious to what you are using for your ERP system.

Hi - We do not have an ERP system in place as yet so I cant enlighten you there however thanks for your response anyway!

The only reason I had asked is because if you have an ERP system, an inventory module should be included with the software. But after looking briefly into the two management systems you mention, Unleashed is on the top of almost every list as a "Top inventory management system". They have multiple partners to integrate with in different aspects of their platform and might streamline better than other top competitors. Cashmere says they do as, yet don't provide people they work with like Unleashed does.

My evaluation would be that they offer very similar product. Unleashed is a larger scale like Costco versus Cashmere, a smaller grocery market. Unleashed offers their software for multiple industries, food manufacturing included. Cashmere focuses on food manufacturing. Might be best to get a demo or free trial from each respective software and see what fits best.

Hope this helps.
