Hello All,

I am scheduled to attend the BRC Lead Auditor training in March. I am reading the whole standard but was wondering if sample exam module available for practice.

Please advice how to ace the exam.

Thank you for your suggestions/help in advance.

Regards

Harmeet

There isn't a model question paper for BRC, you just need to know and understand the standard.

Hi Ally,

Questions are from standard itself. It is a open book test. Please read and understand the standard. Use highlighter and sticky notes to remember things. Since you are going for an auditor class-the class is very detailed and will learn a lot. Make sure to revise daily and use interpretation guideline. I would suggest go through the standard ahead of your training. You will be fine. Good luck!

Hi, you need to find an approved trainer. (ATP)

You can search ATP's in your country from : https://www.brcgs.co...ining-partners/

For example, For BRC Food choose, "Food - Issue 8 Lead Auditor", and choose your country. For the time being, there are 34 ATP in UK and 37 in US.

Probably, they will open courses according to demand.

Best regards.

Not yet. To perform audits as an auditor, you need to make an agreement with a certification body and join audits as trainee.

(As written in BRC Food Standard i8, Appendix 5, Requirements for Auditors)

There are some category exams also.

Regards.

Hi Ally,

Congratulations on passing the exam.

MsPloveyou- I am an BRC ATP and provide trainings to lead auditor, auditor etc. You have to take the lead auditor exam first and then approach CBs like mentioned earlier in post. Not easy (long) process to become auditor.

Guys,

BRC lead auiditing exam questions are MCQ or descriptive type? how many questions? how much percentage to pass?

Well, you are trying to be an auditor...
You will be the guy deciding if the system pass or fail for each requirement, and you can't tell them "well, usually other companies do like that", you will need to stick to the rules. So you better know and understand the rules !

Do not forget your auditees need to reach a much higher percentage... If I correctly remember, BRC v7 had 373 requirements, and you couldn't have more that 30 minor NC... that's more than 90% !

I have a BRC Lead Auditor exam tommorow in st attempt i failed due to 4 marks. Can anyone give me tips and guide me on how to pass.

Hi, Vaibhav, read through the whole standard and get familiar with it. As mentioned above, it is an open book test, if you are not sure about the question given, always refer to the standard and relevant clauses. If English is not your first language, you have opt for extra minutes for answering the exam, 100 minutes would be sufficient for you to look for an answer within the standard.  :shades:

Hi All, anyone knows if the all standard parts are included to the exam or mainly 'part II requirements'?

How many options are given in each multiple choice questions?

What is an open book? For instance can I open the standard itself on the computer when I am taking the exam?

Thank you!
