Label liners - How is everyone catching these?
Hey all,
Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, SQF Quality code certified facility here.
We use standard 4x6, 4x4, etc. Uline labels for external master case labeling. What does everyone use to catch the label liners in?
We are looking to upgrade our program from using corrugate that sits on the floor and is disposed after each days' use. These labels are not product contact and are only used to sticker on the outside of corrugate shipping boxes; our products are packaged, put into inner packs, then placed in these master cases. Also trying to find something that won't increase our hazard for glass or brittle plastic.
During our last SQF audit, auditor discussed her dislike for our current process (I don't like it either), but we were not given an NCs for it. Trying to keep the continuous improvement ball rolling.
Any suggestions or current practices would be appreciated! Thanks!
They make single dispense label machines

You're role of labels goes on, and it rolls the tail back up. End of roll, just remove the core and the wound labels
It's what we use for our cartons too. No fuss no muss (as long as labels come in a roll of course)
Thanks for the reply! Our issue is that we use the Zebra printer then label down stream of this process, so labeling is independent of the printing. Trying to find a way to catch the backing that is up off the floor, easily movable, and meets GMPs.
items like the one I attached don't have to be mounted...........they just need a flat surface..........works for our zebra labels
We have a similar re-winder. Print off zebra onto this unit, then they take the rolls.
