Hello everybody and Congratulations for the wonderful work that you ve done with this site.
I recently finished my master studies in Food Quality Management in Wageningen university in the Netherlands and I am currently working as a volunteer in a start up company in quality department. The director is asking for the FSSC 22000 certification and my task is to design it and implement it. A few words about the company: It develops, produces and sells quinoa ingredients. However, all of the pre-mentioned activities are not implemented by our company but from external companies/organizations. For example the production and cultivation of the quinoah is carried out by the company A. An other logistic company B is responsible for the logistical part (transfer/storage). The processing part is implemented by a company C that has the suitable equipment and finally the orders are going to the customers through the logistic company B.
Therefore the activities that are carried out by our company are the followings:
· The small scale in-house storage, repacking and handling of organic and conventional packed quinoa ingredients for sampling purposes;
· The sales of both organic and conventional quinoa ingredients under our brand.
So my first question would be if our company is in FSSC 22000 scope?
Moreover, I have too many questions regarding the FSSC but lets take one by one the steps. . Thnx for your time.
