Hello everyone! I have put together an approved supplier program but am curious as to what kind of documentation I should be requesting from my suppliers. I am asking for the following thus far:
- Letter of continuing guarantee
- Current product spec sheet
- Current nutritional statement
- Current MSDS
- Third party audit data or certificate
- HACCP Program outline
- Supplier Questionnaire (created by myself)
Are those documents sufficient for determining approved status? In addition to company history and track record, of course.
In addition, what kind of documentation should I be requesting from suppliers that provide things like finished product packaging, etc.? And do I need documentation from suppliers that provide us with aprons, gloves, hairnets, etc.?
