Hi

We have just passed the security supply chain audit from Walmart. The only outstanding action requirement from them is annual background check policy for sensitive position in the company.

Could anyone enlighten me what kind of position than can be considered as a sensitive position? Hence, I can included the list of sensitive position in the policy

Many Thanks!!

Anyone from production up to warehouse/shipping. The way they look at it is anyone that has access to your product could potentially adulterate your product. I dealt with them about 3 years ago in a cheese cutting/packaging company.

Hi,
It would depend on the products that you are working with. But if you risk assess access and risk to product you can define where the sensitive positions are. You don't have to have sensitive positions as long as the risk assessment is robust you should be okay

Cheers
Neil
