Need Career advice
So here is my profile.
I am from South Asia.I came to US last year after marriage and got this opportunity to work as trainee for implementing SQF System in a food Company for one year.Next month,we will move to Canada.I do not have any North American experience except working as one year trainee. My education i.e Bachelor in Sceience(with subjects Physics,Chemistry,Maths) is from my home country which i think would not satisfy the criteria for getting job in food safety in North America.
I want to pursue my career in food safety and want to become food safety auditor on later stage.
Can someone guide me which certifications will be required in Canada to get a job in Food Industry?
and what else would be required to start my career.
Thanks
While I am intimate with Canada, based on your background, suspect you will not have any difficulty finding the work. I would the issues would be more availability and location.
A bachelors in science of nearly any focus and 1 year experience in SQF is not a bad starting point in the United States. Are you HACCP certified?
No but I will apply for HACCP Certification soon.
Meanwhile I was looking for some online certification which could help me find some start up job in Canada.
