What type of flooring (epoxy or polyurethane)?
Hi there,
Can anyone please let me know what type of flooring you have in your facility and whether or not you are happy with it. Also any comments on epoxy vs polyurethane.
I would like to know which is best for a leaf processing facility with no cooking evolved
Your help would be appreciated!
Thanks
I have wood, concrete, and tile. In a perfect world, polished concrete would be mandatory.
But, since we don't live in a perfect world, what flooring do you currently have?
Not sure what a leaf processing facility is, but if you have to put a coating on, I'd go with a good quality epoxy. Smooth and hard surface. Easy to clean.
It will deteriorate over time, however, so you need to look at maintenance cost and how difficult initial application and reapplication down the road will be and how it will affect your manufacturing process.

We have upgraded some areas in our facility with Urethane Mortar and am very happy with it.
Thanks for the replies!
I should have said a salads processing facility!
We are planning to build a high risk facility to process salads and I was wondering which is best - epoxy or polyurethane.
