Greetings:
Do you consider Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) to be derived from Animal Origin/Sources?
Tried to explain: Vitamin D3 is prepared synthetically from a ruminant source material: from wool grease (lanolin) from sheep in Australia and New Zealand.
Looking for further direction.

Yes, it is using animal byproduct.
I have been looking for a vegan source of vitamin D3, but to my knowledge it does not exist. I will update this thread though if I find anything.
Also looking for a vitamin A source that is not animal or synthetically derived. That one is a long shot, but if anyone knows of anything, please let me know!
