Hello,
I work the bakery business. I have to create a "Movement Policy". As staff move throughout the site as part of their duties, the may introduce the risk of product contamination. I am wondering if anyone has such a procedure I can impliment for control of this issue.
Thanks,
Paula

hi,

Ona copy of your floor plan, you can show movement of staff/visitors:

- from outside to inside
- within your plant: from 1 department to another
- from plant to outside
- from and to personnel facilities

And use it to train the direction in which movement should go.
Take a physical walk with employees, use signs/ paint on floor (if appropriate for your facility)

Dear Paula,

To add to Dr. Ajay and Foqus contributions, you can introduce an access log to each area(zone). For instance, areas such as the processing floor, and finished goods stores. Each employee visiting such areas should register their nmames at the netrance. This will further enforce the aspect of access control.

This rigor will keep each employee ,visitor or guest vigilant about the rules that apply in the food processing and handling areas.

Hope it helps.
