Hi cmwrrc

I'm not fully sure the context of your question but my understanding is that your certification will expire on the 3rd July. So in order to maintain continuity of your certification your audit is on the 28th May to allow you sufficient time to close out any conformances (you are permitted 28 days to do this and get your response back to the certification body)

Your certification body will have provided you with protocol documents on this area so have a look to be sure. Otherwise a simple phone call to your certification body will address any specific questions on renewal of your certificate.

I agree with the comments posted by George Howlett. You need to check with your CB if you need further clarification.

There is an audit calculator at the back of the Standard.

Remember also that if you don't have the audit by the correct date, you will pick up a Major NC before you start the audit.

Hi All,

I concur with George,Dr Ajay and food worker you need to contact your CB to avoid the worst shock of getting unwarranted major NC.

Kamwenji
