I'm interested to know if anyone else did the free training "Farm to Fork" HACCP training?

It was posted here at the end of August, and i took it up. Happy to say, i have eventually finished it. Was a very good course, although a lot of stuff i had covered as part of my degree.

Looking forward to getting my certificate now!

Hi Caz,

I registered mid Nov. But my work schedule has gotten so hectic that I did not even finish half the course... And the course ends by 31st Dec.

Sigh.. Looks like I have to re-register again to complete the course. A wide range of subjects i might add. In case anyone new wants to know the site, it's here: http://www.f4st-ec.org/site/index.asp

BTW, Merry Christmas guys!

Caz,

I completed the course too; found it very worthwhile.

Happy NY

Toni
Are the courses free of charge?

They were Simon.
It was part of a pilot programme. i do think that they intend charging in the future. you might be able to get yourself on a pilot programme before they start to charge.

Yes, I think you are right. The course topic revolves around EU legislation. So, unless you work in MNCs and handling regulation issues with regards to EU countries, this course might not be too useful or applicable for you. But it can definately serve as a FYI to prepare yourself in the future, should your new job requires you to have that knowledge.
Thanks Hygienic and Hongyun,

I have realised its only for EU countries but to my view it should be overboard as African countries exporting food stuffs to EU must adhere to EU regulations before their products are accepted.

Kamwenji
