We have been approached by NineSigma who have requested that we share a proposal and invite interested parties to submit white papers for the following project:

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, invites the submission of White Papers that identify multiple opportunities to improve manufacturing operations within the food industry. Process improvements should provide the opportunity to generate a quarter million $USD in annual savings in multiple plants. NineSigma has identified you as a party with the potential to submit a competitive response to this request, or as a contact who might know of someone with outstanding knowledge in this area.

Requesting Organization: A Global Provider of Applied Engineering and Technology Solutions

Submission Date: July 29, 2008

Opportunity Type: Total $15,000
(1) Best Paper $10,000
(1) Unique Contribution/Unobvious Insight $2,500
(5) Meritorious Analysis $500
Program Manager:David Feitler, Ph.D.

I am attaching the RFP. For those interested visit the following web page:

Just to say anyone who feels they have the skills to embark on this you will be doing this outside of the IFSQN and we expect nothing in return, save maybe a mention of where you heard about the RFP.

Regards,
Simon
